New Asbestos Guidance Documents Released by Industry Working Group

The Asbestos Network Technical Working Group, a collaborative body comprising industry experts, HSE representatives, and trade associations including the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA), has released two important guidance documents for the asbestos removal industry. These documents, published on September 3rd, 2024, aim to enhance safety standards and operational efficiency in asbestos management and removal.

This comprehensive guide focuses on the essential process of visual inspection by Licensed Asbestos Removal Contractor (LARC) supervisors before the 4-stage clearance (4SC) conducted by independent analysts. Key features include:
